Class actions and mass torts

Medical records for every claimant on your docket.

Medchart requests, tracks and delivers claimant medical records at scale across Canada, with patient consent built in. Your team stays on the case while we chase the clinics.

350,000+record requests a year
15,000+providers in our network
3,000+direct clinic integrations
SOC 2 Type 2independently audited platform

Built for dockets, not single files

One platform for hundreds or thousands of claimants

Large matters break manual records processes. Medchart was built to take the volume, the follow-up and the paperwork off your plate.

Consent at scale

Claimants sign authorizations electronically. Every signature is time-stamped and tracked, with a full audit trail behind each request.

Find every provider

Provincial health insurance summaries, like OHIP in Ontario, show every provider a claimant has seen, including the ones they forgot to mention.

Bulk ordering

Submit an entire docket at once instead of request by request. A single order has covered 2,800 records.

Follow-up handled

Our team and automated calling follow up with clinics that don't respond, within hours, so nothing sits in a fax tray for months.

Records ready to review

Records arrive searchable and organized by date, provider and condition, so reviewers can qualify claims faster.

Clean cost recovery

We pay provider fees up front from one prepaid account and give you disbursement reports you can bill back as case costs.

Proven at national scale

Trusted on Canada's tobacco settlement

Medchart is the official PCC Agent under the tobacco settlement's PCC Compensation Plan, collecting the medical records claimants need to file. It's the same platform and team that will run your matter.

  • Claimant-facing intake and consent, built for people who have never requested a medical record
  • Requests sent to every doctor, clinic and hospital a claimant names
  • Provider follow-up until the records arrive
  • One audited, consent-driven platform from request to delivery

Questions

Common questions

Which provinces do you cover?

Medchart requests records from providers across Canada. Our digital connections are deepest in Ontario, and we also work with provincial systems in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

How is a large matter priced?

Matters with high monthly volume get custom per-request pricing. Provider fees are paid from a prepaid account and reported so they can be recovered as disbursements. Tell us about your docket and we'll put together a quote.

How do you protect claimant information?

Every request is backed by the claimant's signed consent and a full audit trail. Medchart runs on Marble's platform, which holds a SOC 2 Type 2 attestation from an independent auditor.

Can claimants deal with you directly?

Yes. We can run claimant-facing intake, consent and status updates, or work entirely behind your firm. We set it up to fit your matter.
